JOB OVERVIEW

----About Us----
We’re a fast-scaling DTC brand that grew from $100K to $800K+ per month and are on track for 8-figures in the next 12–18 months. We build premium consumer hardware, engineered to compete with top power-tool brands. Our product team includes ex-Dyson engineers, and we manufacture with factories that also produce for brands like TTI (Ryobi, Milwaukee)

We’re rolling out upgraded versions, a new product line, and new upsell products. We need a Product Development Manager to own that pipeline end-to-end so the founders are not juggling samples, tooling, and timelines.

----The Mission----
Own the hardware launch pipeline from concept to mass production.

You are the single point of contact between:
- R&D / industrial design agency
- Engineering partners (incl. Dyson talent)
- Factories and suppliers
- Internal ops, creative, and founders

Founders set the target (“Launch the PRO version in October.”). You build and run the plan to make it real: on time, on spec, on budget.

----What You’ll Own----
- Full product lifecycle: concept, design, prototyping, testing, sampling, tooling, pre-production, launch.
- Manage R&D / product & branding agency and engineering partners.
- Own factory relationships on the development side: specs, samples, QC standards, tooling/molds.
- Source and qualify new suppliers/factories for new products (this is your department, not ops).
-Run the product roadmap and launch calendar; keep multiple launches moving in parallel.
- Oversee product documentation, design patents, and IP with our legal partners.
- Drive quality and engineering standards that match premium power-tool brands.
- Coordinate with ops (stock-in dates), creative (launch assets), and founders (direction, trade-offs).

----You’re a Fit If You Have----
- 3+ years in product development / product management for physical consumer products.
- Ideal: consumer electronics, power tools, appliances, or hardware.
- Proven track record taking products from concept and tooling through to mass production.
- Direct experience managing Asian factories and engineering teams on development (not just reorders).
- Strong grasp of injection molding, tooling, materials, and DFM (design for manufacturing).
- Experience coordinating agencies, designers, and engineers across time zones.
- Excellent English and clear, structured communication.
- Bonus: background with a premium hardware brand (Dyson, DeWalt, Makita, Milwaukee, etc.).

----You’ll Excel Here If----
- You ship: launches land on time and on spec, not “soon.”
- You obsess over quality and sweat engineering details.
- You can manage controlled chaos across multiple launches without dropping anything.
- You want to grow into a Head of Product role as the line expands.

Logistics
- Full-time, remote, long-term.
- US or European time-zone overlap preferred.
- Competitive USD compensation based on experience and track record.

----HOW TO APPLY----
Send us:
(1) MUST: A 1-minute fresh Loom video where you:
- Share specific physical products you’ve taken from concept to mass production (your role + results).
- Explain why you’re the perfect fit and what makes you an A-player.
- Show your communication style and personality.

Please don’t script this with ChatGPT – we want to see how YOU think.

(2) A link to your CV + portfolio with products you’ve shipped and your specific responsibilities on each.

(3) Subject line: Product Development Manager – [Your Name]

This is not seasonal work. We’re building a real brand and want someone who wants to grow with us long-term.
