Product Designer

Job Summary:
KeaBabies is seeking a practical, execution-focused Product Designer to strengthen our design capabilities by translating customer needs, and market opportunities into supplier-feasible product improvements. Going beyond aesthetics, this role requires a deep understanding of real user pain points and the technical ability to deliver accurate, production-ready 3D/CAD/STP files from concept to final execution. Ultimately, you will accelerate our development pipeline and elevate the quality of products with proven demand, while working collaboratively to optimize the team's overall workload.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct market, consumer, and competitor research to identify customer pain points, product gaps, and improvement opportunities.
• Review Amazon customer feedback, especially 1-to-3 star reviews, to identify repeated complaints, usability issues, and competitor weaknesses.
• Develop practical product improvement ideas based on customer needs, market demand, competitor gaps, and supplier feasibility.
• Create sketches, moodboards, 3D models, CAD drawings, realistic renders, and product-ready STP/STEP files.
• Prepare supplier-ready design details, including dimensions, construction notes, material direction, and basic tech pack information.
• Work closely with the Senior Product Designer & Creative team to explore, refine, and finalize design directions.
• Revise designs based on internal feedback, supplier feasibility, sample reviews, cost considerations, and production limitations.
• Support supplier communication on material, construction, dimensions, feasibility, cost, timeline, and sample issues.
• Maintain proper file organization, naming, version control, and documentation according to internal SOPs.
• Communicate project progress, blockers, risks, and recommendations clearly and proactively.

Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in product design, industrial design, or a related consumer product design role.
• Portfolio showing concept sketches, 3D models, product renders, and final product outcomes, preferably for baby, parenting, lifestyle, or consumer products.
• Strong product thinking with the ability to turn customer needs, competitor weaknesses, and market gaps into practical product improvement ideas.
• Able to communicate design intent clearly through hand sketches, storyboards, moodboards, CAD drawings, and visual presentations.
• Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, and 3D modeling tools such as SolidWorks or Fusion 360.
• Able to create accurate 3D models and product-ready STP/STEP files for supplier review and production development.
• Basic understanding of materials, construction, ergonomics, safety, dimensions, and supplier feasibility.
• Creative, detail-oriented, and passionate about baby products, with awareness of safety, usability, and customer experience.
• Able to manage tasks on schedule, support multiple projects, and maintain quality, accuracy, file organization, and version control.
• Able to communicate clearly and professionally with the team.

• Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Monday to Friday)
