Pre-Construction Manager & Design Coordinator

Unique Home Construction is a residential remodeling and design-build company specializing in kitchens, bathrooms, additions, and whole-home renovations. We are seeking an experienced Pre-Construction Manager & Design Coordinator to support our design, estimating, and project development process.

Responsibilities

* Create complete construction-ready drawing packages for remodeling projects
* Prepare existing and proposed floor plans
* Create interior elevations, cabinet elevations, tile layouts, finish schedules, and fixture schedules
* Design kitchens and bathrooms, including Crystal Cabinets layouts and quotations
* Create 2D and 3D renderings for client presentations
* Develop detailed remodeling estimates from plans, specifications, or scopes of work
* Perform quantity takeoffs and labor calculations
* Contact subcontractors and vendors to obtain pricing and proposals
* Research products, materials, and suppliers
* Maintain estimating, vendor, and subcontractor databases
* Assist with pre-construction planning and project development

Required Experience

This is not a virtual assistant position. Applicants must have experience supporting residential remodeling, construction, or design-build companies.

The ideal candidate must be able to:

* Produce construction-ready drawing sets, not just renderings
* Specify tile layouts, tile heights, fixture locations, mirror sizes, vanity dimensions, cabinet details, and installation dimensions
* Understand residential construction methods and remodeling processes
* Read and interpret plans, specifications, and scopes of work
* Prepare accurate construction estimates and budgets
* Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors

Qualifications

* Minimum 3 years of experience in residential construction, remodeling, estimating, drafting, or kitchen and bath design
* Strong attention to detail
* Excellent English communication skills
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
