Power BI Developer

We are hiring a Power BI Developer to design and develop a prototype analytics solution using Power BI and Microsoft Fabric. The solution will feature an AI-powered testing and reporting platform, built with scalability, security, and seamless cloud integration in mind.

This role involves working closely with stakeholders, including the solution architect, to define the right data model, semantic layer, and reporting architecture. You will also contribute to data engineering activities using Microsoft Fabric, such as data ingestion, transformation, and modeling in a lakehouse architecture. A Kanban board will be used to manage tasks.

The initial contract will focus on delivering a functional prototype, with the potential for continued development into a full-scale analytics solution.

We want to find someone who we can work with long-term.

About You:
- Strong proficiency in Power BI report development and DAX
- Experience working with Power BI service and Microsoft Fabric
- Comfortable using Azure DevOps for task management
- Hands-on experience with data modeling and data transformation (Power Query/M)
- Exposure to data engineering activities, such as dataflows, pipelines, and lakehouses in Microsoft Fabric
- Knowledge of row-level security and access management
- Detail oriented
- Have high-speed internet
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent time management skills to deliver work on time
