Photo & Video Editor

Position Overview
We are looking for a detail-obsessed Photo & Video Editor who understands that jewelry
editing requires precision — metal tone accuracy, controlled highlights, realistic stone
brilliance, and brand consistency across every asset.
This is a long-term remote position.

Key Responsibilities
Jewelry Photo Editing (Primary Focus)
• Retouch product and model images with a clean, elevated finish
• Refine sterling silver and gold-plated metals for accurate tone and controlled reflections
• Enhance CZ stones for realistic brilliance (never artificial)
• Remove dust, scratches, and micro-imperfections
• Maintain consistency in lighting, background, and color temperature
• Prepare assets for paid ads, email, Shopify, and social platforms

Short-Form Video Editing
• Edit vertical videos for TikTok, Reels, and Pinterest
• Optimize pacing for engagement and retention
• Add captions in brand voice
• Basic motion graphics and product callouts
• Adjust color grading to ensure metal accuracy and product clarity
• Export platform-optimized formats

Qualifications
1+2+ years of photo editing experience (jewelry, beauty, or product preferred)
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop (mandatory)
• Experience with Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or similar
• Strong understanding of:
? Metal retouching
? Highlight and shadow control
? Texture preservation
? Color accuracy
• High attention to detail (pixel-level precision matters)
• Strong organization and file management
• Comfortable receiving detailed feedback and refining work
• Reliable internet connection and strong English communication

Nice to Have
• Direct jewelry retouching experience (sterling silver, gold plating, gemstones)
• E-commerce/DTC background
• Understanding of paid social creative
• Experience with AI-assisted retouching tools
