We are looking for a Part-time Graphic and Website Designer (approx. 20 hours/week). This is an exciting opportunity to work across multiple brands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage 4 x Shopify websites – design and maintenance via CMS, ensure excellent user experience
- Make suggestions for improvements for UX and CRO with a view to managing projects to make those improvements
- Develop, manage and provide imagery for Klaviyo EDMs
- Look for ways to improve the websites taking into account keywords, keyword strategy and competitive keyword strategy
- Understand SEO and suggest improvements or changes to the websites being
mindful of the impact on SEO to always seek to improve organic search.
- Respond to marketing briefs to create images
- Work as part of the team to ensure all external communications are executed on brand and on time
- Manage and maintain the brand imagery on Google Drive so it is filed correctly
and accessible to all tea
- Develop images for products, advertising, websites, social media, blogs, EDMs
- Creation and management of social media posts for our men’s brand
- Be the custodian of each brand to ensure consistency in all customer-facing imagery
- Post on
- Occasional packaging and print design
- Develop printed brochures and other marketing materials
Tools & Platforms:
Shopify, Photoshop, Canva, Klaviyo, Google Drive, Microsoft Office
Qualifications:
- High proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (i.e. predominantly Photoshop, InDesign & Illustrator)
- Technically savvy with basic web development knowledge
- Comprehensive experience in web design is an absolute must, in addition to a knowledge of user experience and SEO.
- Experience using Shopify, Klaviyo, Canva
- Create and edit basic videos, experience with After Effects & Premiere Pro would also be advantageous.
- Experience developing artwork for digital channels is a must as well as some experience producing finished and print-ready artwork (formal qualifications in graphic design and 3+ years of experience as an employed graphic designer) will be
required. Some knowledge and experience in FMCG packaging design would be an advantage.
- Ability to work from existing brand guidelines and to follow a brief.
- An understanding of print production processes would be an advantage
- Ability to multi-task and work to deadlines, managing time and capacity.
- Strong attention to detail, accurate spelling and grammar.
- Adaptable and willing to adapt to new technical challenges
- Problem solver and ability to find and recommend solutions
