Job Type: Part-Time Start (15 hours per week start with opportunity for increased hours)
Working Hours: Between 8AM – 4PM, AEST. Monday – Friday.

As the business expands into the AI and digital space, we're looking for a highly experienced and proactive Merchandise & Graphic Design Specialist to assist our team.
This is a no-training-required role, ideal for a candidate who is experienced in brand design and promotional merchandise industry that can hit the ground running with minimal guidance.
Merchandising
- Bring valuable merchandise & promotional industry knowledge to Savvynow including the ability to identify best suited products and suppliers for client enquiries
- Oversee and manage merchandise orders; coordinate operations and production. Manage timelines based on production turnarounds
- Communicate effectively with suppliers & clients; proofing, orders and ensuring deadlines are met
- Recommend solutions and create Quotes effectively incorporating expert knowledge and understanding of suppliers, products, decoration and print solutions; assisting the main salesperson
- Prepare designs for production, ensuring accuracy in file formats, branding, Colour matching and print specifications
Graphic design
- Hold advanced graphic design skills to complete branding projects within scope including custom sublimated shirts, social media assets, custom designs for promotional products etc
- Manage and coordinate design projects – manage Savvynow’s design team who will assist you with design projects and communicate feedback effectively to meet quality standards and scopes
- Oversee and manage delivery of design projects; coordinate proofs, approvals, and client feedback to meet deadlines
Quoting & Communications
- Strong communication skills with the ability to ask insightful questions and effectively engage with clients to ensure deliverables align with their requested scope
- Serve as one of Savvynow’s primary points of contact for Merchandise & Design solutions for the team, clients, suppliers & partners
- Provide accurate and efficient Quotes, demonstrating strong knowledge of product decoration techniques and pricing structures
- Conduct regular check-ins with clients and suppliers via calls and
- Resolve client service complaints effectively, maintaining a high level of professionalism
- Manage client accounts, including regular client check-ins, prompt responses, and organising client files
Requirements:
- Professional confidence in phone calls &
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Experience with Hoops (or similar software for quoting & project management system)
- Strong knowledge and expertise in Design, Merchandise & Decoration
- Expert skills in using Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop
- Experience with Xero or similar accounting software for invoicing
- Exceptional project management & organisational skills, with a focus on managing deadlines and multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to create detailed, accurate quotes and manage end-to-end order processes with suppliers
- A self-starter, ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with a focus on resolving client issues efficiently
- Strong knowledge of proprietary intellectual property and copyright policies, ensuring all works comply with legal requirements
