We are looking for a creative and versatile Graphic & Website Designer to join our remote team, working across both digital design and web development projects. If you’re passionate about delivering exceptional visual content and have the technical know-how to elevate our web presence, this is the role for you!

What You'll Do:
As a Part-Time Graphic & Website Designer at Pirate Ventures, you’ll collaborate closely with our marketing team to create stunning visual content and optimize our website for an engaging user experience. Your role will include:

Graphic Design:
- Create digital assets, such as social media graphics, banners, email templates, and print materials (e.g., flyers, brochures, posters).
- Maintain consistent brand visuals across all platforms.
- Contribute fresh ideas during brainstorming sessions and execute creative concepts.

Website Design:
- Redesign and maintain our website on Squarespace, ensuring a user-friendly and visually appealing design.
- Ensure the website is responsive and performs optimally across all devices (desktop and mobile).
- Implement SEO best practices to improve site performance and search visibility.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure alignment with brand goals.

Qualifications:
We’re seeking a multi-talented designer who is detail-oriented and self-motivated. You’ll need the following skills and experience:
- Proficiency in Canva (required) for digital design and branding work.
- Proven experience in Squarespace website design (required), with a portfolio of successful projects.
- Strong understanding of responsive design, UX/UI principles, and SEO optimization.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) for graphic design.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Bonus Skills
- Knowledge of basic HTML/CSS for custom website features.
- Experience with motion graphics, video editing, or web analytics tools.
- Familiarity with Figma, Sketch, or other web design tools.
