We run paid acquisition for a growing roster of UK and international clients across e-commerce, hospitality and B2B. We need someone who can own paid media end to end — build it, run it, prove it works — without us having to check the tracking afterwards.
This is hands-on. You'll be in the ad accounts daily-ish, not writing strategy decks for someone else to execute. If you like building campaigns and watching numbers move, this is for you. If you want to manage other people who do the actual work, it isn't.
## What you'll do
- Build, launch and optimise **Meta**
- Build, launch and optimise **Google Ads** — Search, **Performance Max** and **Shopping**
- Set up and maintain **Google Merchant Center** feeds (product data, disapprovals, feed quality)
- Own tracking integrity: **Google Tag Manager** containers, triggers, variables, dataLayer, conversion tags
- Configure and audit **GA4** — key events, conversions, attribution, exploration reports, debugging
- Implement and verify **Meta Pixel + Conversions API** (server-side where needed)
- Manage budgets and pacing across multiple accounts simultaneously
- Produce clear performance reporting clients can actually understand (Looker Studio or similar)
- Diagnose and fix broken or duplicate tracking setups before they corrupt bidding signals
## What you need to have
Non-negotiable:
- Demonstrable hands-on experience managing **both Meta and Google Ads** (not one or the other)
- Real **Performance Max and Shopping** experience — not just Search campaigns
- Genuine working knowledge of **GTM**: you can build a container from scratch and debug one that's misfiring
- **GA4** competence: setup, event/conversion configuration, and the ability to spot when data is wrong
- **Google Merchant Center** / product feed management
- Comfortable owning multiple client accounts in an agency context
- Self-managing — you hit deadlines without being chased
Nice to have:
- Server-side GTM
- Shopify e-commerce experience
- Meta CAPI / server-side conversions
- Feed management tools (e.g. DataFeedWatch, Channable)
- Google Ads and/or GA4 certifications
## How we hire
Shortlisted candidates will be given a short, practical assessment — a real tracking or campaign scenario to diagnose. CV claims don't get you the role; demonstrating you can actually do the work does.
