JOB OVERVIEW

If you're someone with a passion for organization, operational excellence, and creative problem-solving, you might be the person we’re looking for to join Kids Cartoon Academy. We're a fast-growing, online art education company dedicated to helping kids boost their confidence and creativity through fun and engaging cartoon drawing lessons. Our CEO and small team of VAs have grown the company from scratch to serve over 1,000 monthly paying members, teach over 40,000 more through online workshops and camps, and make $50k USD in recurring revenue—all in less than three years, and we aim to double in size in 2025. We have many exciting projects lined up this year, and we need a high-level Integrator/COO/Executive Assistant to help bring them to life. Our goal is to grow as the best online learning option in the world for kids who love to draw cartoons.

A FEW QUESTIONS:
Are you a master of detail, structure, and follow-through, and proud of it?
Do you love learning new platforms and programs, as long as they work?
Are you great with people—able to build strong relationships while keeping everyone aligned and focused?
Do you get along well with others and help them get things done?
Are you the go-to person for turning big ideas into actionable steps?
Are you able to work at least half of your shift as daytime Eastern Time hours, including Saturdays 10 am-1 pm ET?
Are you ready to oversee the projects and tasks of a small team of contractors and ensure their completion and quality?
Do you love watching from the back of the stage, knowing that the show was able to go on because of all your behind-the-scenes work?

This role involves daily collaboration and close communication with our founder, Daniel Grissom, and our small team of contractors. This position is part-time with the potential to be full time, with occasional evening and weekend hours required, especially during launch periods for our programs.

Our main source of customer acquisition and revenue has been through online live launching with a closed membership model. I don't need you to be an Internet marketing expert yourself. But I do need you to have a good understanding of how online marketing works, including lead magnets, opt-in pages, sales pages, email marketing processes, webinars, Facebook marketing, etc. (If any of those phrases are brand new to you, this likely is not the perfect position for you.) I need you to make sure that our brand stays consistent and reliable, from start to finish, with each project we put out.

I'll be straight with you: This position has high expectations.

But if you're the person I'm looking for, you're the type who gets motivated by high expectations.

WHAT WE DO:
At Kids Cartoon Academy, we help kids develop their drawing skills and confidence so that they can make art they love, overcome their inner critic and external discouraging factors, and are set up to pursue a creative life. Through engaging classes and community, we support parents and inspire kids ages 6-14 to develop their talents in a fun, structured environment.

Meet the Founder and CEO: Daniel Grissom, artist and educator, built Kids Cartoon Academy from scratch with a vision of making art fun, accessible, and transformative for kids everywhere. He’s committed to providing an environment where kids feel inspired and supported to develop their talents. He knows what it’s like to not have support for his creativity as a kid—he gave up on his creative dreams and stopped drawing for 20 years. Fortunately, he rediscovered his love of art as an adult and started Kids Cartoon Academy to make sure creative kids around the world don’t lose their creative spark like he once did.

If you’re ready to take on a role with leadership potential, enjoy handling all the details, and are excited about supporting a creative mission, this might be the perfect position for you!
