About the Role

We're a growing real estate media company based in sunny San Diego, and we're looking for a highly detail-oriented Operations & Quality Control Manager to help ensure every photo, video, floor plan, and virtual tour we deliver meets our standards of excellence.

This role combines media quality control, photo editing expertise, and day-to-day operations management. You'll be responsible for reviewing deliverables, catching issues before clients ever see them, coordinating with editors and photographers, and helping keep the entire production process running smoothly.

What You'll Be Doing

Quality Control & Media Review

You'll serve as the final checkpoint before media is delivered to clients, reviewing and approving:

* Professional real estate photography
* Property videos (vertical and horizontal)
* Drone photography and video
* 2D floor plans
* 3D virtual tours
* Property websites and marketing materials

Your responsibilities will include:

* Reviewing photo galleries for composition, exposure, color accuracy, straight lines, retouching quality, and overall consistency
* Identifying missing rooms, missed features, duplicate images, or photography errors
* Reviewing videos for pacing, shot selection, transitions, audio quality, branding, and overall storytelling
* Providing clear feedback to photographers and editors when revisions are needed
* Ensuring all deliverables meet company standards before client delivery
* Assisting with photo editing, image corrections, and media revisions when needed

Operations Management

* Monitor project progress from shoot completion through final delivery
* Ensure all services ordered are completed and delivered on time
* Track outstanding tasks and follow up with tea ---------- mbers as needed
* Maintain production schedules and help coordinate daily workflow
* Support process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives
* Help troubleshoot production issues and prevent bottlenecks before they impact clients

Client Communication & Support

* Manage and respond to client emails professionally and promptly
* Reply to client text messages in a friendly and helpful manner
* Keep clients informed on project status and delivery timelines
* Follow up on revisions, questions, and outstanding items
* Help create a seamless client experience from booking through final delivery

Team Coordination

* Work closely with photographers, editors, and operations staff
* Provide constructive feedback to improve quality and consistency
* Assist with onboarding and training materials when needed
* Help maintain and enforce company quality standards and workflows

What We're Looking For

Required

* Exceptional attention to detail
* Strong understanding of photography fundamentals, including composition, exposure, lighting, color correction, and image quality
* Experience reviewing or editing professional photos and/or videos
* Strong written and verbal English communication skills
* Excellent organization and time management skills
* Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
* Proactive problem-solving mindset
* Comfortable using AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude
* Reliable computer equipment and high-speed internet
* Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a remote team
* Available to work full-time during business hours. Initial training will take place Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM PST. Following training, the regular schedule is expected to be Tuesday through Saturday. Start times may shift earlier as we determine the optimal schedule for the role and company needs.
* Comfortable working independently while remaining highly responsive and collaborative with the team

Preferred

* Experience with Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar editing software
* Real estate photography or real estate media experience
* Quality control, production management, or post-production management experience
* Familiarity with virtual tours, floor plans, and real estate marketing materials
* Experience managing remote teams or creative workflows
