Odoo Developer

Be the technical backbone of our financial operations. We are building our Odoo environment from the ground up and need a skilled developer who can take this from zero — setting up our core financial system and making it work the way our business needs it to.

**About the Role
This is a greenfield engagement. We are starting from scratch with Odoo and need someone who can own the full build — from initial environment setup and chart of accounts all the way through to dashboards, reports, CRM integration, and a smooth handover to the business. Once the system is live, the role continues as a part-time maintenance retainer.
We need someone fluent in Odoo, not someone who will be learning on our time. Financial and accounting knowledge is equally important — you must understand what good financial data looks like, not just how to configure software.

**Project Scope & Milestone Payment Schedule
Payment is released upon completion and sign-off of each milestone. No milestone is considered complete until deliverables are reviewed and accepted by the principal.

**What We're Looking For
• Proven Odoo experience — you must be fluent, not learning on the job
• Solid understanding of accounting and financial systems (AP, AR, P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
• Ability to build a chart of accounts from scratch aligned to a real business
• Experience building custom dashboards and financial reports in Odoo
• Strong at CRM-to-accounting integration within the Odoo ecosystem
• Detail-oriented — reports must surface accurate, meaningful data
• Proactive communicator; can flag blockers without being chased

**Skills Assessment
Shortlisted candidates will complete a practical Odoo assessment before the final interview. This is non-negotiable — we need to verify your hands-on capability before we proceed. The assessment is brief and targeted to the financial module build.
