We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Mortgage Loan Processor / Funding Processor who can help manage loan files, communicate with clients, collect conditions, and help move deals efficiently from application to closing.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage and process real estate funding files from intake to closing
• Communicate professionally with borrowers, lenders, title companies, and internal tea
• Review loan applications and supporting documentation for completeness and accuracy
• Collect and organize required loan conditions including:
Bank statements
Operating agreements
LLC documents
Driver’s licenses
Insurance
Rehab scopes
Contractor bids
Purchase contracts
• Order and track third-party items such as:
Appraisals
Title work
Insurance
Payoffs
• Follow up consistently with borrowers to ensure fast condition collection
• Coordinate with lenders, processors, underwriters, and closing attorneys/title companies
• Maintain detailed notes and updates inside our CRM and loan tracking systems
• Monitor pipeline deadlines and proactively prevent delays
• Identify red flags or issues before closing (income issues, insufficient funds, missing documents, seasoning issues, etc.)
• Assist with investor loan products including:
Fix & Flip Loans
DSCR Loans
Rehab Funding
Cash-Out Refinance
Business Funding
• Help improve internal systems and workflows for smoother processing
Qualifications
• Minimum 2 years of mortgage processing or real estate funding experience
• Experience with full-cycle mortgage processing
• Strong understanding of:
Conventional loans
DSCR loans
Investor loans
Fix & Flip funding
Hard money lending
• Experience reviewing:
Credit reports
Bank statements
Loan conditions
Income documentation
• Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple loan files at once
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable following systems, checklists, and SOPs
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with investor-focused lending
• Familiarity with CRMs and loan management systems
• Experience working with U.S.-based mortgage or lending companies
• Knowledge of underwriting conditions and loan structuring
• Experience communicating directly with borrowers and lenders
• Experience with DSCR calculations, rehab budgets, and title coordination
• Stable high-speed internet and professional work-from-home setup
• Available to work during U.S. business hours
Compensation
• Starting Base Pay: $800 USD/month
• 90-Day Performance Review with opportunity for increase
