Mobile App Developer - Part Time

Are you a self-driven Mobile App Developer passionate about building impactful applications? I am seeking a skilled developer to join me in creating innovative solutions for iOS and Android platforms. In this role, you will work independently as the sole developer, reporting directly to the project owner.

Responsibilities:

- Develop mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms, focusing on rapid prototyping and launching MVPs within tight deadlines (few weeks)
- Design and implement efficient, maintainable, and scalable code.
- Collaborate closely with the project owner to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Troubleshoot issues, fix bugs, and optimize application performance.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve development processes.

Requirements:

- Proficiency in React Native and/or Swift (for iOS) and Kotlin/Java (for Android) with a strong understanding of mobile app development best practices.
- Basic understanding of database provisioning and maintenance
- Basic understanding of server operations
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects from concept to deployment.
- Fast learner with a "get-it-done" attitude and a strong belief in your abilities.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills in English

To be clear, again, you will be the only developer on these projects while they are in the MVP (Minimum Viable Product) stage. Of course I, as the project owner, understand the limitations of a 1 person development team, so I will not expect more from you than what I know you can accomplish.

If you can handle being a solo developer and can deliver an MVP app within a very short time frame, let's talk. Otherwise, please do not waste my time and your time if this is not the job for you.
