TYPE OF WORK: Gig / Freelance (project-based, ongoing as needed)
HOURS PER WEEK: Varies per project - after your 1st project, we do have enough work to keep you busy for about a month full-time or we can space it out
ABOUT THE ROLE
I'm looking for a Dynamics 365 workflow expert to bring on for projects as they come up. This is not a full-time position; it's an ongoing, as-needed relationship. When I have work, I want a reliable specialist I can hand it to who already knows the platform inside and out.
You won't be hand-held. I need someone who can take a business requirement, design the right workflow solution, build it, and explain clearly what they did and why.
WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON (varies by project)
-Designing and building workflows in Dynamics 365 / Dataverse (classic background & real-time workflows)
-Power Automate flows and Business Process Flows
-Automating CRM processes across Sales, Customer Service, and/or [your module]
-Troubleshooting and fixing broken or inefficient existing workflows
-Documenting what you build so it can be maintained later, EVERYTHING MUST BE ADDED TO OUR WORKFLOW WITH A LOOM
MUST HAVE
-Proven hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 (Customer Engagement / Power Platform)
-Strong command of D365 workflows, Power Automate, and Business Process Flows
-Ability to translate a business problem into a clean automation solution
-Reliability and responsiveness when a project is active (just tell us your working hours so we know when to expect to answer questions)
HOW TO APPLY - READ CAREFULLY
Applications that ignore these steps will be deleted. I want to see that you actually know this platform.
Apply here:
Share your portfolio - links to projects, a doc, screenshots, GitHub, anything that shows real D365 work.
Walk me through ONE project you're proud of - ideally a loom :)
Tell me in the question #1 spot on the application:
What was the business problem?
What did you build to solve it (workflow, Power Automate, plugin, etc.)?
What was the result?
#2 Answer this: A workflow needs to run instantly when a record is updated AND retry if it fails. How would you approach it in D365?
I'm reading every application that follows these steps. Looking forward to seeing your work.
