Math Tutor (Specializing in Singapore Math)

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic online math tutor to support our 5th-grade daughter with a primary focus on Singapore Math. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in elementary education and a passion for creating a supportive and engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver one-on-one tutoring sessions focused on Singapore Math concepts.
Review and reinforce current lessons and assignments to ensure material comprehension.
Design customized lesson plans tailored to the student’s unique learning needs and pace.
Provide guidance on homework assignments, emphasizing problem-solving skills.
Monitor and assess the student’s progress, identifying areas for targeted improvement.
Maintain clear and consistent communication with parents about the student’s progress, challenges, and any necessary adjustments to the tutoring approach.

Qualifications
Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, especially with elementary school students (preferred).
Strong understanding of 5th-grade math curriculum and standards, with expertise in Singapore Math.
Ability to design engaging and adaptable lesson plans.
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to education.

Schedule
Flexible availability between 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM Pacific Standard Time.

Compensation
Competitive and negotiable based on experience.
