ABOUT SUMMER HOUSE MEDIA CO.
Summer House Media Co. is an emerging media company focused on creating local advertising opportunities that help small businesses increase visibility in the communities they serve.
Our current offer is a shared direct mail advertising campaign. Local businesses can reserve ad space on a professionally designed 9 x 12 postcard that is mailed to approximately 5,000 households in a targeted local area.
We are seeking a sales professional who can manage the full sales process and support campaign coordination from initial outreach through advertiser onboarding, proof approval, and mailer completion.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Local Advertising Sales Representative will manage the full end-to-end sales cycle and advertiser coordination process for Summer House Media Co.’s Shared Local Mailer program.
This is not an appointment-setting-only role. The selected contractor will be responsible for moving qualified prospects from initial research and outreach through follow-up, objection handling, closing, payment coordination, advertiser intake, proof approval follow-up, and campaign completion.
PRIMARY GOAL
The primary goal is to help fill available paid advertising placements for a monthly shared local mailer while ensuring confirmed advertisers submit the materials and approvals needed to move the postcard into print.
A confirmed paid placement means that a business has selected an advertising tier, submitted payment, and that payment has been received and confirmed.
WHAT YOU WILL BE SELLING

Businesses can choose from three advertising placement tiers. Premium Anchor Ads are priced at $650. Standard Feature Ads are priced at $475. Starter Local Ads are priced at $325.

IDEAL CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate is confident in outbound sales and comfortable speaking with small business owners and decision-makers.
You should be comfortable owning both top-of-funnel outreach and end-of-funnel conversion, along with basic campaign coordination responsibilities after the sale.
This means you can research prospects, start conversations, build trust, follow up, handle objections, ask for the sale, coordinate payment, collect advertiser materials, manage deadlines, track approvals, and keep the campaign moving forward without requiring constant supervision.

CAMPAIGN EXPECTATIONS
The selected contractor will be expected to consistently source and contact qualified local businesses, build and manage a pipeline of interested prospects, follow up with warm leads, help secure paid ad placements, collect advertiser materials, track approvals, and maintain organized campaign records throughout the cycle.
Lead sourcing will be shared. Summer House Media Co. will provide target market direction, priority business categories, sales materials, campaign details, and strategic lead guidance. The sales representative will be expected to source and build the majority of the prospect list and outreach opportunities.
