Loan Processor VA

We are searching for a VA with Loan Processing experience to assist our lender team. You’ll manage all administrative aspects of the transaction from contract to close. Job responsibilities
*Maintain an in-depth knowledge of highly technical and evolving underwriting/lending guidelines, and investor regulations, and utilize specialized knowledge of loan products to interpret these guidelines to assist the borrower in his/her understanding; *Assist in gathering required loan underwriting documentation, and assist the borrower’s primary point of contact with Perfect Fit Loan, always leaving him or her with a favorable impression
*Determine the financial products that best meet the customer’s needs and financial circumstances, and provide advice on the advantages and disadvantages of different financial products
*Negotiate loan rates and terms on behalf of the consumer, and apply the borrower’s unique credit profile to loan scenarios in order to provide financial options to the consumer
*Monitor the loan from the point of origination through closing, and work closely with processors, underwriters, closers, and staff to facilitate a smooth and compliant transaction
*Develop and maintain lifelong relationships with consumers, business partners, and colleagues
*Attend and complete all required training, maintain knowledge of all lending policies, procedures, guidelines, and regulations, and complete all licensing prerequisites and requirements
*Provide unsurpassed customer service
*Complete other duties as assigned

Qualifications

*Applicants must possess exceptional organizational and verbal and written skills in English. Fluent is not enough. We are looking for someone who can have spontaneous and organic unscripted conversations with our clients
*Motivated to serve people and provide excellent customer service
*At least 2 years of United States loan experience required
*Experience in mortgage lending and knowledge of loan types, such as FHA, FHLB, FNMA, or VA loans required

We have Interviews on Wednesdays Pacific Standard time and all shifts will be worked in tandem with our Sumner Washington team also Pacific Standard Time.
