Role Overview
The LinkedIn Ads Specialist + Strategist will be responsible for designing, managing, and optimizing LinkedIn advertising campaigns while developing long-term strategies for client success. This hybrid role combines hands-on campaign management with strategic planning, allowing you to influence the bigger picture while delivering day-to-day results. This is a fully remote position with opportunities for advancement and collaboration within a dynamic, forward-thinking team.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning
Develop comprehensive LinkedIn advertising strategies tailored to client goals, including lead generation, account-based marketing (ABM), and brand positioning.
Conduct competitive analysis and industry research to inform campaign strategies and recommendations.
Collaborate with clients to define objectives, KPIs, and success metrics, ensuring alignment with broader marketing goals.
Integrate LinkedIn Ads strategies with multi-channel marketing campaigns, including
Campaign Development & Management
Plan, build, and execute LinkedIn Ads campaigns, including Sponsored Content, Message Ads, Text Ads, and Dynamic Ads.
Conduct audience segmentation and targeting using professional demographic data, such as job titles, industries, company sizes, and interests.
Design ad funnels for different stages of the customer journey, from awareness to conversion.
Develop and test engaging ad creatives and copy, working closely with content and design teams.
Optimization & Performance Management
Monitor and manage campaign budgets, bids, and pacing to maximize efficiency and ROI.
Perform A/B testing on targeting, creatives, and placements to identify high-performing elements.
Analyze campaign data to identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes to enhance performance metrics such as CTR, CPL, and ROAS.
Troubleshoot issues, such as low delivery rates or ad disapprovals, and resolve them effectively.
Analytics & Reporting
Use LinkedIn Campaign Manager and analytics tools to track, measure, and report on campaign performance.
Create detailed reports with actionable insights, highlighting key metrics such as impressions, clicks, conversions, and engagement.
Present findings and strategic recommendations to clients, focusing on opportunities for scaling and optimization.
Client & Team Collaboration
Serve as the primary LinkedIn Ads expert for assigned clients, offering proactive guidance and support.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including SEO, PPC, and content teams, to ensure cohesive marketing efforts.
Stay up-to-date with LinkedIn Ads platform updates, policies, and best practices, sharing insights with tea
Required Skills and Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field (preferred but not required with significant experience).
Professional Experience
Minimum 2–3 years of experience managing LinkedIn Ads campaigns, with a strong focus on B2B marketing.
Proven track record of delivering measurable results in lead generation, ABM, or brand awareness campaigns.
Agency experience or managing multiple client accounts simultaneously is highly desirable.
Certifications
Mandatory: LinkedIn Marketing Labs Certifications (such as Campaign Manager Fundamentals or Advanced LinkedIn Strategies).
Preferred: Certifications in Google Analytics or other data analysis tools.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in LinkedIn Campaign Manager and related tools.
Experience with analytics platforms such as Google Analytics or HubSpot for tracking and reporting.
Familiarity with third-party tools like Hootsuite, Sprout Social, or AdEspresso is a plus.
