Link Building Expert - Tech / B2B

Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced link builder to help improve our website’s SEO through high-quality backlink acquisition. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of white-hat link-building strategies, outreach techniques, and SEO best practices. You will be responsible for acquiring high-authority backlinks, guest posting, and other ethical link-building techniques to enhance our domain authority and search rankings.

You will work closely with our Head of SEO services and will be expected to overlap with UK time for collaboration for 2-4 hours per week. During the initial 4 weeks - you should expect this overlap to be considerably higher.

Responsibilities
Research and identify high-quality backlink opportunities.
Execute manual outreach for guest posts, broken link building, and niche edits.
Build high-authority, white-hat backlinks from relevant and reputable websites.
Conduct competitor backlink analysis and suggest link-building strategies.
Manage link-building campaigns, track progress, and report results.
Ensure backlinks adhere to Google’s Webmaster Guidelines (no spam, PBNs, or black-hat tactics).
Collaborate with content creators for linkable assets and guest post content.
Requirements
Proven experience in link building and SEO.
Knowledge of SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, Majestic, etc.).
Experience with email outreach tools (BuzzStream, Pitchbox, or similar).
Strong understanding of anchor text optimization, DA/DR metrics, and link relevance.
Ability to secure links from real websites (not spammy directories or PBNs).
Strong communication and negotiation skills for outreach.
Knowledge of on-page SEO is a plus but not required.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working on English-language websites targeting US/UK audiences.
Ability to build relationships with webmasters, bloggers, and influencers.
Basic knowledge of WordPress for posting guest articles.
Compensation
Competitive fixed price per acquired link (based on DA/DR and relevance) or hourly rate.
