Landscaping Estimator - Design + Build, Maintenance

???? About the Role
We’re looking for a highly organized and experienced Landscape Estimator to join our team remotely. In this role, you’ll be responsible for developing accurate, professional quotes for a wide range of landscaping services — including residential/commercial maintenance, design-build construction, hardscaping, concrete work, and plant/material selection.

You’ll play a pivotal role in our sales and operations process, translating client needs and project scopes into detailed, profitable estimates — all while working virtually with our team of project managers, designers, and sales reps.

???? Responsibilities
- Virtually manage the estimating process from intake to final proposal

- Review project scopes, site photos, videos, client notes, and measurements (provided by field staff) to develop takeoffs and cost breakdowns

Prepare quotes for:
- Landscape maintenance packages
- Design/build installation projects
- Hardscapes (patios, retaining walls, walkways)
- Concrete flatwork
- Planting and softscape installations

- Coordinate with vendors to get updated pricing for materials and subs

- Ensure each estimate aligns with company margins, labor rates, and timelines

- Input estimates into Jobber and communicate with the internal team via Slack and Go High Level

- Support sales team by occasionally joining virtual client calls to clarify scope or answer pricing questions

- Maintain internal database of pricing, labor assumptions, and materials

? Requirements
- 2+ years of experience estimating landscaping projects (maintenance and/or construction)

- Strong understanding of landscaping materials, labor logistics, and softscape/hardscape practices

- Ability to read site plans, renderings, or measurements submitted by sales/PMs

- Comfortable working in Jobber, QuickBooks, LMN, and G-Suite

- Able to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines

- Strong written communication skills — you’ll be writing proposals and explaining pricing to the team

- Must have a reliable internet connection and access to a distraction-free work environment

Our entire back office runs remotely, so you’ll be collaborating daily with our team via Slack and Go High Level. All site details (measurements, photos, notes) are captured by field staff — your job is to turn that info into a clean, confident quote.
