LEAD FULL-STACK DEVELOPER - AVIATION CHARTER PLATFORM (EXISTING PROJECT)

Job Type: Part-time / Full-time / Contract (Flexible)
Rate: $13 USD/hour
Experience Required: 3-5 years
Start Date: IMMEDIATE (Can start this week)
Project Duration: Long-term (6+ months)

PROJECT OVERVIEW

We're completing a brand new air charter booking platform. Think "Uber for private jets" - customers request flights, charter
companies bid competitively, and we facilitate the entire process.

You'll be taking over an existing project with solid foundations and completing the remaining features to get it ready for customer
trials.

WHAT YOU'LL COMPLETE

Core Platform Features:
• Customer portal - Trip requests, bid reviews, booking management
• Carrier dashboard - Browse trips, submit bids, manage flights
• Admin panel - User management, system oversight
• Bidding system - Real-time competitive bidding on charter requests
• Trip tracking - Status updates from request to completion

Technical Architecture:
• Frontend: React 18 + TypeScript + Bootstrap 5
• Backend: Python Flask/FastAPI + PostgreSQL
• Cloud: AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, S3)
• Authentication: JWT-based with role management
• Payments: Stripe integration (future phase)

REQUIRED SKILLS

Must Have:
• React + TypeScript - Modern functional components, hooks
• Python web development - Flask or FastAPI experience
• Database design - PostgreSQL, data modeling
• REST API development - Clean, documented endpoints
• AWS basics - S3, Lambda, RDS deployment
• Git workflow - Professional development practices

Preferred:
• Bootstrap/responsive design - Mobile-friendly interfaces
• Payment integration - Stripe, PayPal experience
• Real-time features - WebSocket, live updates
• Aviation/transportation industry knowledge
• Marketplace platforms - Bidding systems, user matching

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Hourly Rate Structure:
• Base Rate: $13 USD/hour
• Part-time (20 hours/week): ~$1,040/month
• Full-time (40 hours/week): ~$2,080/month
• Flexible hours: Track time, get paid for actual work
• Immediate start bonus: $100 for developers who can begin within 48 hours

Additional Benefits:
