Our client provides customer service for self-storage facilities in the US. Examples of calls would be giving facility info, reserving units, offering payment solutions, upselling to larger units, etc.
The customer service team offers solutions, identifies opportunities, and serves thousands of customers – one at a time. As part of the team, you’ll play a front-line role by impacting the customer’s experience – from scheduling appointments, answering questions, and delivering great service.
This role is a mix of customer service and sales, with plenty of opportunities to earn bonuses through successful rental calls.
Your day-to-day activities may include:
Managing calls and SOME video calls in a timely and effective manner.
Identifying the caller's need for storage and recommending the best unit for their needs.
Explain the features and benefits of our facilities clearly to callers.
Addressing customer questions and issues professionally and efficiently.
Keeping records of all customer conversations on the call center CRM.
Meeting targets for performance consistently.
Important note: You will conduct some video calls. Kiosks are available at various locations for customers to call in and request to speak with an agent through video. It is crucial to have a "professional background" during these calls to create a respectful and professional experience.
Required Equipment:

?Laptop or desktop Windows 10 or better. Processor of i5 8th gen or higher and 8GB RAM. NO Macs!
Skills Required:
- 1 to 2 years of Recent experience working for a US based STORAGE FACILITY is a MUST ( please do not apply if you don't have this ).
- Good communication skills, especially listening, as that will allow you to ask better, more relevant, questions of customers.
- Empathy is important as you may be handling contacts from customers in difficult situations, so having natural empathy makes it much easier to build rapport with these customers.
- A multitasking ability will prove vital, as you will have to switch between multiple screens while helping customers.
- Proven experience in sales and a track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
Schedule if hired:
9 or 10 am EST to 7:30 pm EST M-F with rotating Saturdays off
