Veterans Choice Enterprise is looking for an IT Specialist to troubleshoot and maintain our tech systems, ensuring everything runs smoothly for our remote team. You will report directly to the Operations Manager during and after the probationary period. Once your performance demonstrates readiness, you will take on additional responsibilities to support various teams and ensure the security and efficiency of our platforms.
Job Overview: As an IT Specialist at our company, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our tech systems and platforms. You will troubleshoot and resolve issues, particularly with the platforms we use daily, and ensure our systems are secure against potential cyber threats. Your role will be key in maintaining an efficient, secure, and error-free work environment for our entire remote team.
Key Responsibilities:
System Troubleshooting & Support:
• Resolve system errors and issues across a variety of platforms, including GoDaddy, Pipedrive, ClickFunnels, Microsoft 365, Dropbox, Dialpad, HTML, Trello, and Google Workspace.
• Provide technical support to tea
• Regularly monitor the performance of these platforms to ensure uptime and efficiency.
Cybersecurity:
• Implement and maintain robust cybersecurity protocols to protect our systems and data.
• Conduct security audits and vulnerability assessments across our platforms.
• Ensure compliance with best practices in data protection, privacy laws, and cybersecurity standards.
Collaboration & Documentation:
• Work closely with the management, sales, and admin teams to identify and resolve technical issues that impact productivity.
• Provide training and guidance on system usage and best practices.
• Document troubleshooting steps, solutions, and security measures for future reference.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as an IT Specialist, System Administrator, or in a similar role, preferably with experience supporting remote teams.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity practices and tools, with a track record of securing systems and sensitive data.
• Familiarity with the platforms and tools we use, including GoDaddy, Pipedrive, ClickFunnels, Microsoft 365, Dropbox, Dialpad, HTML, Trello, and Google Workspace.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively across multiple systems.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with a diverse, remote team across different time zones.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced, flexible environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Preferred Skills:
• Familiarity with IT automation tools and SaaS solutions.
• Knowledge of networking and server management.
• Experience with data backup solutions and disaster recovery processes.
