We are a US-based Managed Service Provider (MSP) looking for a skilled, dependable, and proactive IT Engineer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone with strong MSP experience, a solid foundation in Microsoft 365, networking, and Windows infrastructure, and the ability to balance both project delivery and day-to-day support.
As an IT Engineer, you will work across a variety of client environments, supporting and improving their systems, resolving escalated issues, and contributing to infrastructure deployments and modernization efforts. You’ll also collaborate closely with other technicians, help guide junior tea

Key Responsibilities
• Provide Level 2/Level 3 technical support for client environments across desktops, servers, Microsoft 365, and network infrastructure
• Act as an escalation point for complex technical issues that cannot be resolved by Level 1 technicians
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving:
• Windows desktops and laptops
• Windows Server environments
• Microsoft 365 services
• Active Directory / Group Policy
• DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and firewall configurations
• Network connectivity and performance
• Plan, coordinate, and implement IT infrastructure projects, including migrations, deployments, upgrades, and environment improvements
• Administer and support Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, Intune, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Azure AD / Entra ID
• Configure, support, and troubleshoot network devices and security appliances such as Fortinet, Ubiquiti, Meraki, Sophos, switches, routers, and wireless infrastructure
• Support backup, disaster recovery, and virtualization platforms such as Veeam, MSP360, and VMware ESXi
• Assist with endpoint management, user onboarding/offboarding, device provisioning, and policy enforcement
• Provide guidance and technical assistance to junior technicians as needed
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in ticketing and documentation systems to ensure clear communication, visibility, and efficient handoff
• Participate in on-call or after-hours support rotation when required
Technologies You’ll Work With
• Microsoft Stack: Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Intune, SharePoint, OneDrive, Azure AD / Entra ID
• Server & Endpoint: Windows 10/11, Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy
• Networking & Security: Fortinet, Ubiquiti, Meraki, Sophos, VPNs, firewalls, routing, switching, wireless
• Virtualization & Backup: VMware ESXi, Veeam, MSP360
• Tools: PSA/RMM platforms such as ConnectWise Manage, NinjaOne, or similar tools
What We’re Looking For
• 3+ years of experience in an IT support, systems administration, or IT Engineer role, ideally within an MSP environment
• Strong hands-on troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, Microsoft 365, servers, and networks
• Experience supporting multiple client environments and managing competing priorities in a fast-paced service desk or MSP setting
• Solid knowledge of:
• Microsoft 365 administration
• Windows Server and Active Directory
• DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and firewall troubleshooting
• Network infrastructure and wireless technologies
• Experience with remote support, documentation, and ticket-driven workflows
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• A proactive, organized, and service-oriented mindset
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a distributed team
Strongly Preferred
• Previous experience in a Level 2/Level 3 MSP role
• Experience with Intune / MDM deployments
• Experience with SharePoint and OneDrive migrations
• Experience with Fortinet, Ubiquiti, Meraki, or Sophos
• Experience with backup and disaster recovery platforms
• Experience mentoring or supporting junior technicians
Relevant certifications such as:
• CCNA
• CompTIA Security+
• Microsoft 365 / Azure certifications
• Other networking or security certifications
