Harvest Accounting is seeking a Human Resources Executive with a vibrant personality, excellent interpersonal and communication skills to join our newly set up domestic corporation in the Philippines. We are headquartered in Singapore and support over 300 Singaporean small businesses in their bookkeeping, accounting and taxation needs. Currently, we have about 6 Client Managers based in Singapore and 12 Accountants based in the Philippines.

The candidate must have had minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience in Human Resources in Philippines. Applicants do not need to have knowledge of accounting or bookkeeping concepts.

You will be responsible for recruitment of staff, all payroll and benefits processing, team building as well as learning and development of the employees based in Philippines.

This is a part-time or hourly-rated (freelancer) position with a 100% remote working arrangement.

What you will do:

Payroll and Benefits:
- Process all payroll-related, insurance and benefits matters for our employees and freelancers in the Philippines
- Assist in drafting all employment contracts
- Ensure compliance with all statutory and legal obligations

Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Assist in the recruitment of accountants and bookkeepers from job posting via recruitment channels, screening and shortlisting candidates, to scheduling initial and final interviews
- Onboarding of new employees and work with IT Executive to set up employee

Learning and Development:
- Assist in scheduling monthly share and learn content under the supervision of Senior Production and Client Managers
- Facilitate and document quarterly performance reviews with all team members

Team and Culture Building:
- Lead virtual team-building games during monthly share and learn online meetings
- Engage employees through pulse surveys, anonymous feedback channels and monitoring employee net promoter scores (eNPS) to ensure high employee engagement and satisfaction
- Celebrate birthdays, work anniversaries and life milestones of team members
- Organise quarterly physical gatherings for team members based in the Philippines

What you will need:
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant working experience in Human Resources in the Philippines
- Strong understanding of employment laws and employer obligations
- A self motivated and proactive mindset, able to make suggestions on the improvement of the firm, and generate initiatives on your own
- A high level of interpersonal or communication skills. The ideal candidate should be empathetic, approachable and a natural people person with a positive personality
- A knack and interest in testing and rolling out new software and tech solutions. A comfortable digital native
