We are a U.S.-based employment law firm specializing in single-action wrongful termination and retaliation cases. We are seeking a highly skilled paralegal or legal writer with a strong background in California and/or New York employment law. This role requires exceptional legal writing, research, and organizational skills to support attorneys and manage critical casework. A graduate degree in a relevant field is strongly preferred.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Document Management and Administrative Support:
• Format, proofread, and manage legal documents with precision.
• Organize and store case files and correspondence for easy accessibility.
• Draft and issue correspondence to clients and opposing counsel.
2. Drafting Legal Documents:
• Prepare initial drafts of motions and pleadings for wrongful termination and retaliation cases under attorney supervision.
• Draft professional client letters and other litigation-related correspondence.
3. Legal Research and Case Support:
• Conduct detailed legal research on California and New York employment law topics.
• Summarize statutes, case law, and regulations to support litigation strategies.
4. Team Collaboration:
• Work closely with attorneys and tea
• Ensure clear and consistent communication within a remote team environment.
Must be available during U.S. business hours (8 AM EST to 6 PM PST).
