We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Patient Care Coordinator to join our team! In this role, you will help manage patient referrals, schedule appointments, and ensure smooth coordination between patients and healthcare providers.

Qualifications:

> At least 2 years experience as a Virtual Assistant preferably in a healthcare setting (eg. Physiotherapy, Dental clinics,
Osteopathy, Chiropractic's, Naturopathy, etc.)
> Experience in healthcare administration or patient coordination (preferred).
> Strong organizational and time management skills.
> Excellent phone and email communication.
> Ability to multitask and manage scheduling efficiently.
> Knowledgeable with MS Excel, Google Workspace (Google Spreadsheet, Google Docs, etc.)
> Familiarity with healthcare software tools (EMR/EHR -> WEBPT, JANE APP, Juvono etc.)
> Experienced in handling insurance claims (MVA,WSIB, BlueCross, Sun life, etc.) , billing, etc.

Duties and Responsibilities:

> Process internal referrals and ensure they are added to the correct lists.
> Schedule and oversee allied health appointments (PT, KIN, CC, OT, Vision).
PT (Physiotherapy or Physical Therapy); KIN (Kinesiology); CC (Chronic Care or Case Coordinator); OT (Occupational Therapy)
> Call approved and private patients to book their treatments.
> Manage and update patient approvals, denials, and follow-up lists.
> Assist with EACR (Extended Authorization for Care and Referrals) treatment block bookings and LTD (Long-Term Disability) approvals.
> Send faxes to GPs as needed.
> Submit daily reports to management.
