I am seeking a long-term part-time (4 hours) General VA with strong Canva and Video Editing skills to help me and my Senior VA. No prior crafts/crochet knowledge is required but you must know good English (written and spoken) and be available for Skype screen-sharing calls every week to discuss tasks with my Senior VA.

I know crafts and crochet are more of a women's thing, but men are more than welcome to apply. I just need someone reliable, honest, willing to learn, and who has a good design eye. The job does not require you to know how to craft.



While I can teach you the technical skills for photo and video editing and we provide you with templates to guide you, having a creative eye is something you MUST bring to the table. You should already understand what makes a great photo or video: composition, aesthetics, and storytelling.

We’ll provide on-the-job training and guide you through every task, but you must be eager to learn, loyal, and honest. If you have a natural sense for design and a passion for visual storytelling, this role could be a great fit!

I am looking for someone who can work with us for a long time. This is an established business and we need permanent assistants to work with us. For now, we need a part-time assistant, but the job might turn into a full time if it fits both our needs.

We work in a relaxed, friendly environment, work hours are flexible. You can work daytime or nighttime, weekends or weekdays. We work on a weekly task basis schedule so you know exactly what needs to be done and what the deadline is.
Contact multiple times a week with my Senior VA through Skype screen-share is a MUST to keep on top of every task.



Your main tasks will be:
- Creating Canva media using our templates
- Creating short-form videos (shorts and reels) using templates and your own design skills using Canva and other similar websites
- Basic editing of YouTube videos (right now in Canva)
- Create social media posts from scratch using our brand, colors, voice, and style
- Various admin tasks such as uploading and downloading of photos and videos, updating files etc.



All tasks will be fully explained with step-by-step instructions so you will know exactly what to do. You'll also have my Senior VA's support if you are stuck.

What I require from you:
- You must write and understand English; we can't teach you if you can't understand us
- You MUST be familiar with AI, using it to brainstorm, generate text, edit photos and videos etc
- High attention to detail is a MUST
- Regular weekly contact through chat to discuss upcoming tasks, mainly with my Senior VA who is from the Philippines as well
- Asking questions if you are not sure how to do something is a MUST
- you must be computer savvy, own your laptop, and have a stable, strong internet connection


Experience using the tools and platforms below helps, but we will also show you and train you on each task:
- Social media (Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, TikTok)
- ClickUp
- Google docs/sheets
- Good Canva & Photo editing skills are a MUST


Required office equipment
- Home office (not working from coffee shops, malls, or anything like that)
- A good, fast computer
- High-speed internet connection
- Skype on your mobile so we can contact you
- You will not be required to pay for any software we use

Put the link to each video from Canva into a Google Doc and put the link to the document in the application email.

b. Pinterest Pin Creation
Use Canva to create a set of 5 Pinterest pins based on the templates given, using stock photos and/or raw videos provided below and above.
Put the links to each pin from Canva into the same Google Doc from the task above.
