We are currently looking for a few roles to be completed. Firstly an accountancy role, both part time and full times, and to assist with payroll for our Restaurants Mensho Tokyo, Thank you 

Position: Full Time / Part Time Accountant – Tax, Business Advisory & Commercial Operations

Location: South Melbourne / St Kilda Road, Melbourne VIC

Our firm is registered with the TPB, ASIC and operates trust accounting services for legal firms and real estate agencies. Our client base includes hospitality groups, property investors, mechanics/workshops, SMEs and commercial operators.

About The Role

We are seeking highly motivated accountants who can think independently, solve problems proactively and operate efficiently within a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.

This role is suited to someone who:
• Can work autonomously with minimal supervision

• Learns quickly and adapts to change
• Has initiative and strong communication skills
• Wants exposure beyond traditional accounting work
• Wants to understand how profitable businesses are built and operated in the real world

Successful candidates will gain direct exposure to:
• Multi-entity business structures
• Hospitality and retail operations
• Property and commercial investments
• Business growth and restructuring
• Investor relations and funding discussions
• Commercial leases and licensing
• Real business decision making and strategy

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns
• BAS, IAS and GST compliance
• Payroll processing and payroll tax obligations
• Management of 40+ staff payroll/pay slips fortnightly
• Bookkeeping and reconciliations
• SMSF administration and compliance
• Assisting with SMSF audits and audit preparation
• ASIC company compliance and lodgements
• Trust accounting and trust reconciliations
• Accounts payable and receivable
• Cash flow management and reporting
• Liaising directly with clients, ATO and external stakeholders
• Assisting directors with business operations and project management
• Assisting with internal systems, workflow and operational efficiencies

Experience Required

Preferred:
• 3+ years accounting/tax experience
• Xero, MYOB or QuickBooks experience
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Australian tax and compliance knowledge
• Payroll experience preferred
• SMSF experience advantageous but not essential

Seeking FOH / BOH and Management role 

 Staff required immediate start - Michelin star Japanese restaurant 

We require Wait Staff / Kitchen staff and supervisors for assignments in Melbourne's inner and outer suburbs. Lots of weekend, weekday, daytime and evening shifts available with immediate starts for the right candidates.  You will be paid for every hour you work, within a variety of job settings including function work, cafes, restaurants, hotel banquets. Throughout the year we will also have event work available & all our clients are in need of experienced hospitality professionals who can jump in & help out so you can Pick and choose when and where you work in some of the best events and venues in Melbourne. To be considered for these roles we are looking for candidates with the following, Wait / Bar Staff (25-55 per hour), Waitstaff ($25- $55 per hour)?                                                                       
* Min 12 months FOH experience
* Ability to carry drinks trays and 2 bottle service
* 5 plate clear  
* 3 plate carry
* Current or upcoming RSA Certificate for VIC
