We run a digital marketing business that launches direct response offers — mostly VSL-driven info products on
I need a full-time editor who can take a script or brief and turn it into an ad that actually converts, fast, using AI.
The work runs almost entirely through Higgsfield and Descript...
...so you need to be genuinely fluent in both.
Higgsfield for generating and directing AI footage, Descript for assembling, cutting, and cleaning up the edit. If you bring real prompting taste on top of that (Kling, Veo, image models), even better.
What you'd actually be doing
- Turning
- Generating and directing AI footage in Higgsfield that matches the emotional beat of each line
- Editing, pacing, and polishing in Descript
- Choosing footage that hooks in the first 3 seconds and holds through the close
- Producing volume without the quality sliding
What I'm looking for
- Real Higgsfield + Descript experience. This is the core of the job. If these aren't already part of your workflow, this role isn't for you.
- An eye for what converts. Not just clean edits — ads with tension, emotion, and a reason to keep watching. I'll teach you what works for my specific offers; after that, you should be able to run with minimal hand-holding.
- Instinct for footage. You know which clip carries the hook, which sells the story, which lands the close.
- Speed and self-direction. You move fast and manage yourself.
- You catch your own mistakes. Glitched generations, audio that's out of sync, typos, jump cuts that shouldn't be there — you fix them before I ever see them. Errors that bounce back slow us both down.
- A DR background, not a brand one. You've made ads meant to sell, not corporate brand videos.
How it works
Strong applicants go straight to a paid trial: a real brief, tested on a live offer.
If the work's good, we talk rate and move quickly.
To apply
Start your reply with the word "Riptide" so I know you read the whole thing. Then send a Google Drive link to the recent direct response ads you've made.
Don't send a CV. I only care about the work. If it's strong, I'll reach out.
