Full Stack Software Engineer

Overview:
SafeSite is building real-time safety and translation tools for schools. We’re looking for a Full-Stack Engineer based in the Philippines to help develop modular services including camera detection, audio threat analysis, and live translation—all inside an Electron-based desktop dashboard.

Responsibilities:
Build and maintain React-based front-end interfaces (Electron)

Develop on-premise apps in C# for edge deployment

Integrate Python-based translation tools and APIs

Build and deploy modular services using microservice architecture

Use pub/sub messaging systems to communicate between services

Write backend services in Node.js or Express

Collaborate via GitHub, sprints, and async tools

Required Skills:
3+ years full-stack development experience

Proficient in React, Node.js, C#, and Python

Experience building and working with microservices

Experience with pub/sub messaging systems (e.g., Redis, RabbitMQ, Kafka, or cloud-based equivalents)

Familiarity with REST APIs, WebSockets, and local data persistence

Solid Git, debugging, and remote work skills

Nice to Have:
Experience with ElectronJS or desktop app frameworks

Experience in speech recognition, computer vision, or audio processing

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
