Finance & Operations VA — TD Hire
10 hours/week / Australian Client
About the Role
TD Hire is a fast-growing Australian staffing agency and we need someone to come in, take ownership of our financial operations, and build them into something we're actually proud of.
Right now things work — but they're clunky. We're looking for someone who can look at how we do things, spot the gaps, and build clean processes that scale with us. This isn't a "maintain what's there" role — it's a "make it better and then own it" role.

What You'll Be Doing
Auditing our current finance and admin processes and identifying what needs fixing
Setting up and cleaning up Xero so it actually works for us
Building spreadsheet systems for revenue tracking, contractor payments, and client invoicing
Managing weekly contractor payments via Wise
Sending and tracking monthly client invoices
Maintaining timesheets across multiple clients
Creating SOPs so nothing lives in anyone's head
Owning the back-end so the founder doesn't have to
What We're Looking For
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
Solid Xero experience (non-negotiable)
A process brain — you naturally look at how things work and think about how they could work better
Self-directed and comfortable taking initiative
Strong Google Sheets skills
Bonus: experience with Wise or international payments
Working with Australian clients is massive bonus
EXPERIENCE WITH SETTING UP AUTOMATIONS IS A BONUS with marketing leads etc.

Independent contractor arrangement
