Finance Manager for High-Volume E-commerce Business

About Us:
We are a high-revenue e-commerce company managing 10 webshops, with a focus on dropshipping. We use Shopify for our online stores and Stripe/Shopify Payments for processing transactions. Our business operates internationally, dealing with millions in revenue across multiple currencies. We are looking for an experienced finance professional to help manage and oversee our financial operations, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and growth.

Key Responsibilities:
• Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly profit and loss statements, revenue analysis, and other key financial reports to track business performance.
• Payment Verification: Reconcile daily payouts from Stripe and Shopify Payments to ensure the amounts match what’s reflected in our records. Verify that all transactions, including payment fees, are accounted for accurately.
• Billing & Invoicing: Manage and review supplier invoices to ensure they match agreed-upon amounts. Ensure timely payment and track any discrepancies.
• Multi-Currency Management: Oversee revenue and expenses in multiple currencies, ensuring proper exchange rates are applied and currency-related discrepancies are resolved.
• Payroll & Team Payouts: Review and process team payouts, ensuring that payments align with agreed terms and that all time and billing details are correctly accounted for.
• Cost Optimization: Identify and implement strategies to optimize operational costs and improve profitability.
• Financial Auditing: Conduct periodic checks and audits of financial transactions to ensure accuracy, compliance, and best practices.
• Forecasting: Assist in creating financial forecasts and budgeting to guide business decisions.
• Tech & Tools: Utilize tools such as QuickBooks or any other accounting software to streamline financial processes. Knowledge of Shopify and Stripe is a must.

Requirements:
• Proven experience managing finance for e-commerce businesses, preferably with Shopify and Stripe integrations.
• Strong experience in financial reporting, profit and loss analysis, and multi-currency management.
• Familiarity with payment gateways, invoicing systems, and subscription-based models.
• Ability to reconcile payments and verify financial data for accuracy.
• Experience with bookkeeping software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, etc.) is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to think critically with financial data.
• Excellent written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly.
• Previous experience working with high-volume billing in an e-commerce environment is a must.
