Finance Head/Manager (with payroll)

Job Summary:

A Head of Finance role involves the management of financial planning, development of strategy, assessment of investments, budgeting, reporting, and analysis to ensure that the company’s finances are being used effectively to meet overall objectives.

Duties Responsibilities:
As the Head of Finance, you will play a crucial role in guiding the financial health of the organization and contributing to its overall success. The specific duties and the scope of responsibilities may vary depending on the size and nature of the organization and the industry you choose to specialize in, however, as a basis, you will work on:

Financial planning and strategy: developing and implementing the company's financial strategies, including long-term financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
Financial reporting: ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. This entails preparing financial statements and communicating financial results.
Risk management: identifying and managing financial risks that could impact the company's performance. This may involve implementing risk mitigation strategies and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Treasury management: overseeing the management of the company's finances, including cash flow, working capital, and investment decisions.
Financial analysis: conducting financial analysis to provide insights into the company's performance, profitability, and efficiency, including assessing the financial impact of business decisions.
Relationship management: collaborating with other departments, external auditors, financial institutions, and investors. Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, not only aids the Head of Finance within their current seat but aids future progression.
Manage the payroll process, including processing payroll, tracking employee time and attendance, and managing benefits.
Strategic decision support: providing financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making by the executive team and the board of directors.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree holder in Accounting or related field.
Proven work experience as a Head of Finance.
Detail-oriented and can manage multiple tasks.
Hands-on experience with budgeting and risk management.
Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting models.
Proficiency in accounting software.
Solid analytical and decision-making skills.
Leadership abilities.
Must have strong communication skills both oral and written.
Preferably with previous graveyard work experience.
Must be able to work a night shift for 8 hours, Monday-Friday EST.
Must have the following: A) Own computer unit (Processor should be at least 10th generation; RAM at least 8GB) and backup; B) Stable postpaid internet connection and backup; C) and backup power supply.
