Experienced Video Editor and Storyteller - Test Gig

Looking for an experienced video editor and storyteller to join our team sharing inspiring stories.

UNCOVERED is a new media brand and storytelling platform that shares stories of the secrets shame tells us to hide. You can check out previous stories we've shared on our website at Upgrade to see actual info.

We are looking for an occasional video editor to add to our team for various projects as they arise.

This particular project is a test project so you can show us what you're capable of as a video editor and storyteller.
Consider it part of the interview process for the position we're looking to hire, and yes, we will pay you for your time during the test project ($7/hour).

TEST PROJECT:
You will have up to 7 hours to take a raw interview and its transcript and edit together a compelling video.
I am most interested in seeing how you rearrange the interview to craft the most powerful message.
No broll required (at least for the test video).
You can add word graphics if you'd like or if you feel they are necessary to create your video.
You can also add music if you choose, but again, not required.

I'm curious to see what sound bite you will choose to hook the audience in the first 3-5 seconds of the video and how you will rearrange the soundbites to craft a story with an overall message.

REQUIREMENTS:
Must be experienced with Adobe Premiere Pro
Must have experience taking a raw interview and pulling soundbites on your own to create a compelling story.
Must be fluent in English as all interviews will be in English (at least for now).
