JOB OVERVIEW

US based Shopify e-commerce baby gift site looking for an experienced Shopify Growth and Optimization Specialist to join our team. This role is crucial for driving our online growth by improving our website's conversion rate and enhancing the lifetime value of our customers. Applicants must be experienced in CRO, retention marketing and can show competence in both. Must be fluent in English, professional and goal driven.

Responsibilities:

1) Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO):

Conduct thorough analysis using tools such as Google Analytics, Shopify reports, and heat mapping software like Microsoft Clarity to understand user behavior and identify areas for improvement.

Develop and execute A/B and multivariate tests using testing software like VWO to optimize site performance and improve conversion rates.

Collaborate with our development team to implement testing ideas and changes aimed at improving user experience and conversion rates.

Monitor and analyze website performance daily, weekly, and monthly, making necessary adjustments to strategies based on analytics insights.

2) Customer Lifetime Value (CLV) Enhancement:

Leverage retention strategies and tools, particularly Klaviyo, to increase sales from existing customers by optimizing email flows, campaigns, and pop-up strategies.

Develop and execute strategies to grow the lifetime value of our customers, focusing on retention and repeat purchase rates.

Analyze customer behavior and segmentation to tailor marketing efforts that cater to different customer needs and preferences.

Requirements:

Proven experience in e-commerce optimization: improving conversion rate, average order value or both.

Hands-on experience with Google Analytics, Shopify reports, heat mapping tools (e.g., Microsoft Clarity), A/B testing tools (e.g., VWO), quiz tools (like octane.io), personalization software (like Rebuy).

Expertise in email marketing and retention strategies, preferably with Klaviyo: a history of improving sales from existing customers by optimizing flows, campaigns and sign up rate.

Ability to generate innovative testing ideas and work collaboratively with developers to implement them.

Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable growth strategies.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work remotely with a globally distributed team.

Intellectually curious individual who is always growing & learning by participating in industry groups, getting training and always searching for ways to improve and grow the business.
