About the role
I run a lead-generation agency that helps home-service businesses (starting with tree-service companies) book more jobs. I'm hiring an experienced cold caller / appointment setter to call business
owners, spark interest, and book qualified 15-minute appointments onto my calendar. You book the appointments, I run the closing calls. This is a high-volume, phone-heavy role. You will dial through
GoHighLevel, work a provided lead list, and log every call.
Read this before you apply. Do NOT apply if:
- You do not have real B2B cold calling experience. I mean outbound dialing, not inbound support or general VA work.
- You have not actually used GoHighLevel. People without GHL experience do not make it far in this role.
- You have a strong accent. US business owners need to understand and trust you in the first few seconds, so clear, neutral English is non-negotiable.
I want someone experienced who can help me grow the business, not someone whose hand I have to hold. If you need to be trained on the basics of cold calling or GHL, this is not the role for you.
What you will do
- Make 150 cold calls per day to business owners.
- Use a proven script to open, handle objections, and book qualified 15-minute appointments.
- Book appointments directly onto my calendar in GoHighLevel, and capture each prospect's
- Log every call with the result and a quick note.
- Send me a short message each morning when you start, and an end-of-day report: dials, conversations, and appointments booked.
Hours
US Eastern business hours (9 to 5 EST). I am flexible on exact timing as long as you hit 150 calls a day and your appointment targets.
Compensation
- First two weeks (trial): commission only. $5 for every qualified appointment that shows up, plus $75 for every client that closes.
- After the trial: $50 per week base, paid biweekly, on top of the same commissions. The base grows with your numbers.
Growth
This role is the starting point, not the ceiling. I am also looking for someone who can grow into a closer role fairly quickly, running the sales calls themselves. If you have the skills and prove them
in the trial, that path is open.
How to apply (incomplete applications will be ignored)
Send me ALL of the following. This is everything I would ask you anyway, so include it up front:
1. A Vocaroo recording (
2. A second Vocaroo recording: a 45 to 60 second mock cold call to a business owner, using your own opener and going for the appointment.
3. Your cold calling experience: how many years, what industries, and which dialers and CRMs you have used.
4. How recently and how heavily you have used GoHighLevel specifically. Confirm you are comfortable with manual and auto dialing, booking appointments to a calendar, tagging contacts, and adding contact
info like
5. In a batch of 150 cold calls, how many qualified appointments do you realistically expect to book?
6. When an owner says "I'm not interested" in the first ten seconds, what is your exact approach? Give me a real example of what you would say.
7. In one or two sentences, how would you pitch a marketing and appointment-setting service to a business owner?
8. Your available hours in US Eastern time, and how many hours per week you can commit.
9. Your computer specs, internet speed (run a test at speedtest.net), and headset.
10. Your start date.
Applications without both voice recordings will not be considered.
