We are a growing construction company located in Brisbane, Australia carrying out carpentry works and internal fit outs in the commercial and residential sectors.

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Construction Estimator to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial role in developing accurate and competitive bids for various construction projects. You will work closely with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to estimate project costs, including labor, materials, and equipment.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities

• Be proficient with BuildXact and Excel software.
• Sound knowledge of construction.
• Produce detailed scope of works and cost estimates.
• Conducting detailed take-offs, material pricing and labour assessments.
• Identifying potential cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
• Ensure timely completion of estimate and tender ensuring KPI’s are met and exceeded.
• Accurately review variation requests and ensure accurate pricing is applied to produce required quote.
• Prepare and provide variation estimates.
• Obtain quotes from suppliers for various product costs as required.
• Sketch detailed drawings.
• Create scope of works for active projects.
