We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Analyst with expertise in Power BI and Excel to join our team. This position has the potential to lead to a full-time role based on performance and company needs.
Job Description:
The Data Analyst (Minimum 5 years of experience) will play a critical role in our data-driven decision-making processes by providing actionable insights through data analysis, reporting, and visualization. As an expert in Power BI and Excel, you will be responsible for extracting, transforming, and presenting data to help drive strategic decisions and enhance the overall efficiency and performance of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Analysis:
Collect, clean, and validate data from various sources to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Perform in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
Develop and implement data-driven solutions to address business challenges and opportunities.
Power BI Expertise:
Create interactive and visually compelling reports and dashboards using Power BI.
Maintain and update existing Power BI reports while ensuring data integrity.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their reporting requirements and deliver customized solutions.
Excel Mastery:
Utilize advanced Excel features to manipulate and analyze data efficiently.
Develop complex spreadsheets, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and other functions.
Automate repetitive tasks and processes using Excel macros and VBA.
Data Visualization:
Communicate data findings effectively through charts, graphs, and presentations.
Design and optimize data visualizations to convey information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and share insights.
Present findings to tea
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Data Science, Statistics, Business, or a related discipline.
Proven experience as a Data Analyst, with a strong focus on Power BI and Excel expertise.
Exceptional proficiency in data visualization and report creation using Power BI.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulae and VBA programming.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
The ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of data modeling and SQL is a plus.
This is a temporary/contract position with the potential for a full-time role based on performance and the company's needs.
