Electrical Documentation & C-Bus Assistant (Part-Time Remote)

About Us

We are an Australian electrical contracting and project management company involved in high-end residential, hospitality, commercial and automation projects.

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Documentation & C-Bus Scheduling Specialist to assist with electrical design documentation and provide guidance in the development of Schneider Electric C-Bus scheduling standards.

Our team is experienced in electrical construction; however, we are looking for a specialist who has practical experience with C-Bus systems and can assist with documentation, scheduling, allocation of channels and overall project coordination.

We currently prepare electrical documentation, cable schedules and switchboard schedules in-house.

We require an experienced person who can:

Review our C-Bus documentation
Assist with relay and dimmer schedules
Assist with blind and shutter schedules
Help establish scheduling standards
Identify design conflicts
Support our existing documentation team
Mentor junior documentation staff

You will work closely with our documentation assistant, Elvin, helping him understand how C-Bus projects are structured and documented.

Key Responsibilities
C-Bus Documentation
Prepare C-Bus relay schedules
Prepare C-Bus dimmer schedules
Prepare shutter relay schedules
Prepare blind control schedules
Prepare group address schedules
Assist with network planning documentation
Review channel allocations
Verify spare capacity requirements
Identify scheduling conflicts
Technical Review
Review electrical drawings
Cross-reference schedules against plans
Check switchboard allocations
Verify field device requirements
Assist with documentation quality control.

Team Support
Guide junior documentation staff
Develop documentation templates
Improve scheduling workflows
Provide recommendations based on project requirements

Required Experience
Essential
Previous Schneider Electric C-Bus experience
Experience preparing C-Bus schedules
Experience reading electrical drawings
Strong Excel skills
Strong attention to detail
Excellent written English

Hours
10–20 hours per week initially
Potential for long-term engagement
Flexible working hours

Pay

AU$8–15 per hour
(Depending on demonstrated C-Bus experience)

Applicants with genuine Schneider Electric C-Bus project experience are preferred over general virtual assistants.
