E-Commerce Operations Manager – Facial Skincare Brand (Remote)

We are seeking an experienced E-Commerce Operations Manager to oversee daily business operations, customer service, inventory coordination, website management, vendor relationships, reporting, and administrative functions.
This is a long-term remote position with significant growth potential for the right candidate.

Position Overview
The E-Commerce Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across our online business. This individual will serve as the central point of coordination between management, customer service, fulfillment partners, suppliers, and marketing teams.

We are looking for someone who is highly organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking ownership of business operations.

Key Responsibilities
E-Commerce Operations
• Manage daily operations of the Shopify store
• Maintain product listings, pricing, promotions, and website content
• Closely collaborate with group marketing
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment activities
• Ensure website accuracy and operational efficiency
• Identify and implement process improvements

Customer Service Management
• Oversee customer support activities and service quality
• Monitor customer inquiries, returns, exchanges, and complaints
• Develop and improve customer service procedures
• Track customer satisfaction and resolution metrics
• Ensure timely and professional communication with customers

Inventory & Fulfillment Coordination
• Coordinate inventory planning with suppliers and fulfillment partners
• Monitor stock levels and prevent inventory shortages
• Track shipments, order fulfillment, and operational performance
• Assist in forecasting inventory requirements
• Resolve operational issues affecting customer orders

Vendor & Partner Management
• Manage relationships with manufacturers, suppliers, and service providers
• Coordinate product launches and inventory replenishment schedules
• Research and evaluate new suppliers and operational partners
• Assist with negotiating pricing and operational terms

Reporting & Analytics
• Prepare weekly and monthly management reports
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Monitor sales, inventory, customer service, and operational metrics
• Provide actionable insights to management

Administrative Support
• Document business processes and procedures
• Assist with special projects and operational initiatives
• Coordinate activities between departments and external partners
• Support executive management with administrative and operational tasks

Required Qualifications
• 3+ years of eCommerce operations experience
• Strong Shopify experience
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Advanced Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities
• Ability to work US Eastern time office hours

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with beauty, skincare, cosmetics, health, or wellness brands
• Experience with subscription-based eCommerce businesses
• Experience with Amazon Seller Central and FBA
• Experience with third-party logistics (3PL) providers
• Experience with customer service team management
• Familiarity with Klaviyo, Shopify Apps, and eCommerce reporting tools
• Experience working with influencers, affiliates, or brand partnerships
