About Us: Mile High Minute is a fast-growing media platform focused on hip-hop culture, music, sports, trending news, Colorado news, and regional stories from across the United States.

We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Social Media & Content Operations Assistant to help us grow our audience, maintain a consistent content schedule, and keep our promotional systems organized.

This is not a traditional VA role. We need someone who understands internet culture, knows how to find engaging content, and can help us identify stories that create conversation and drive engagement.

Primary Responsibilities:

Content Research & Discovery (Primary Focus):
* Monitor Instagram, X, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Reddit, blogs, and news sources daily
* Find trending stories and viral content opportunities
* Research hip-hop news, music news, sports news, entertainment news, Colorado news, and regional stories
* Identify content likely to perform well and generate engagement
* Submit daily content recommendations

Content Creation & Publishing:
* Create and publish social media posts
* Write captions and post copy
* Schedule content across Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok, and YouTube
* Maintain a content mix of approximately:
* 70-80% organic/trending content
* 20-30% promotional content
* Ensure content is published consistently and on schedule

Analytics & Performance Tracking:
* Track post performance
* Identify content trends and winning formats
* Report on engagement metrics
* Recommend future content based on performance data

Content Operations & Organization:
* Maintain content command centers and Google Sheets
* Review promotional submissions from email
* Organize artist information and campaign details
* Track upcoming promotions and posting deadlines
* Keep content calendars and tracking systems updated
* Add viral content ideas and opportunities to internal systems

Requirements:
* Strong English communication & writing skills
* Excellent research skills
* Strong attention to detail
* Familiarity with hip-hop culture and music industry news
* Understanding of social media trends and viral content
* Experience using Google Sheets
* Ability to work independently
* Reliable internet connection
* Ability to meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications
* Experience managing social media accounts
* Experience with Instagram growth
* Experience using Canva & ChatGPT
* Basic graphic design skills
* Experience with music, entertainment, sports, or media brands
* Knowledge of american culture and news
