JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Specialist with experience in WIX websites and working with a Social Media Agency in Australia to support a bold and innovative Social Media Management Agency based in Hervey Bay, Queensland. This business is helping small businesses and regional communities shine through creative, high-impact content, social media strategy, and digital marketing solutions. Experience & Skills:

- Previous experience and knowledge of working with Facebook, Meta Business Suite, Instagram, and TikTok is desired.
- Strong experience with Canva is a MUST.
- Proficiency in video editing using either CapCut or Adobe Suite is essential.
- Experience with Wix for website editing is a bonus.
- Familiarity with Trello for managing tasks, lists, and checklists.
- Past experience working with a Social Media Agency in Australia would be highly favoured.
- A strong understanding of what makes content engaging and different from the rest.

Your Role & Responsibilities:


Email
& Calendar Management:

- Check in on the founder’s emails and take appropriate action, flag important emails, and revisit later as needed.
- Provide feedback and action items to the founder, ensuring follow-ups are recorded in Trello.
- Schedule appointments and maintain the founder’s calendar, ensuring seamless communication.

Content Creation & Editing:

- Edit short-form videos for the agency's channels, including captions, audio, transitions, and other enhancements (using CapCut or Adobe Suite).
- Create visually engaging marketing emails and send them to existing and potential customers.
- Assist in managing and executing clients' email marketing campaigns.
- Create on-brand, eye-catching, and scroll-stopping social media graphics that reflect the agency’s unique style.
- Develop creative, stand-out content that helps us and our clients break through the noise and stand out from competitors.

Website & Digital Marketing Support:

- Carry out website updates and edits for clients and the agency's website (Wix experience preferred).
- Lead management, ensuring potential client inquiries are tracked and responded to efficiently.

General Administrative Support:

- Assist with admin requirements and various weekly tasks that arise.
- Monitor client performance through regular reporting and analysis using the Sked Social platform (easy to learn).
- Keep an eye on competitor content, industry trends, and provide actionable insights.
