Hello, my name is Peyton.
I am looking for someone to help me design analog circuits. Design circuits that would have been used in the 60s. No microprocessors or chips. Just transistors, relays, LEDs/diodes, resistors... I learned about these and could have made them myself about a decade ago when I was university, but alas, now I am an engineer on a boat and I don't get to do much theory work anymore.
What I am getting at is, I need someone to help me design circuits that I will then create and test/calibrate. Part of these will be writing explanations for how the circuits work so that I can get a good understanding of the workings.
I know that a circuit, such as a timer circuit, can be very simple using a LM555. But for this project, we will use many transistors, capacitors and amplifiers. I know a "0-9" number display can be bought for less than a dollar, but for this project, we will need strings of LEDs, resistors and transistors to manually turn on the LEDs required to show a number between "0-9".
Project Examples:
-analog 110v AC to 12v DC battery charger.
-Solar charge controller.
-12v DC to USBC
-110v AC to USBC
-LiFeP04 BMS
-Inverter
Project Goals:
-Analog circuit design.
-Explanation of the workings of the circuit.
-Shopping list from
This website is a good example of what I am looking for.
