We are looking for a Data Analyst with strong visualization and statistical skills to turn operational data into clear, actionable insights. This role focuses on building dashboards, analyzing trends, and supporting decision-making through data.
You will work with structured operational datasets from internal tracking systems and transform them into meaningful reports and visual dashboards. No prior domain experience is required — we will provide training on the business context.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze structured operational data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies
Build and maintain dashboards and reports for operational and leadership teams
Translate raw data into clear KPIs and meaningful performance metrics
Perform statistical analysis to support decision-making and performance tracking
Design clear and effective visualizations that communicate insights simply
Work with stakeholders to refine reporting needs and define metrics
Clean, validate, and prepare datasets for analysis and reporting
Required Skills
Data Analysis
Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, charts, data cleaning)
Clear understanding of SQL, including filtering, aggregation (GROUP BY), and table joins (INNER, LEFT, RIGHT JOINs)
Ability to work with structured datasets (CSV, spreadsheets, tabular data)
Statistics (Required)
Strong understanding of descriptive statistics (mean, median, variance, standard deviation)
Ability to interpret data distributions and identify outliers
Basic trend and time-series analysis
Understanding of correlation vs causation
Ability to define, calculate, and interpret KPIs
Data Visualization
Experience building dashboards using:
Microsoft Power BI or Tableau
Ability to choose appropriate chart types for different types of insights
Strong visual storytelling skills (clarity, simplicity, and impact over complexity)
Experience designing dashboards for operational and management use
Analytical Thinking
Ability to break down problems into measurable data questions
Strong attention to detail and logical reasoning
Comfortable working with imperfect, incomplete, or inconsistent data
Ability to think critically about what the data is actually showing
Communication
Ability to explain insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders
Strong written summaries of findings and recommendations
Ability to translate business questions into data analysis tasks
Nice to Have (Optional)
Basic Python (pandas for data analysis and visualization)
Experience with simple automation or reporting workflows
Familiarity with APIs or data extraction methods
Basic understanding of time-based or geospatial data
