Job Post: AI Creative Operations Manager
Position: AI Creative Operations Manager / Technical Team Lead
Location: Remote — Philippines
Employment Type: Full-Time after a successful paid pilot
Paid Pilot: 2 weeks — 800 USD flat project fee
Full-Time Compensation: $1,500–$2,500 USD per month to start, depending on experience, with room for growth
Company: Rudderr LLC
This position is designed as a senior systems-builder and quality-control leader, not a general virtual assistant or entry-level graphic designer. The manager will build and operate a scalable AI-assisted content team, recruit and train junior editors, create repeatable workflows, and enforce strict product-accuracy standards.
About Rudderr
Rudderr is an e-commerce brand management and wholesale growth company that helps consumer brands expand across Amazon, Walmart, Shopify, Faire, and social media.
We manage products across several categories, including outdoor and survival gear, home improvement, lawn and garden, wellness, beauty, and specialty consumer products.
We are building an internal AI-assisted content production operation capable of producing high-quality product lifestyle images, short-form videos, and UGC-style content at scale.
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced AI Creative Operations Manager to build, lead, and manage our Philippines-based content production team.
You will not be expected to create every image or video yourself. Your primary responsibility will be to build the people, systems, workflows, and quality-control process required to deliver accurate, realistic, and premium e-commerce content consistently.
You will receive original product photography and creative direction from our U.S. team. You will then manage a team of junior AI image and video editors who transform those product photos into realistic lifestyle scenes, advertising assets, social media content, and short-form videos.
Our most important standard is product fidelity. Logos, dimensions, materials, colors, proportions, accessories, controls, textures, and product features must remain accurate. Product distortion, invented features, incorrect branding, and visibly artificial imagery must be caught and corrected before delivery.
Primary Responsibilities
Build and Manage the Creative Team
• Recruit and evaluate junior AI image editors, video editors, and creative production contractors.
• Handle onboarding, training, performance reviews, coaching, and replacement of underperforming tea
• Maintain sufficient staffing so content production does not stop when an editor becomes unavailable.
• Assign work based on each editor’s skills, availability, and performance.
• Build a reliable team capable of increasing or decreasing production based on demand.
Build the Content Production System
• Create repeatable workflows for AI-assisted product photography, lifestyle imagery, video, and synthetic UGC.
• Develop SOPs, templates, prompt libraries, brand guidelines, file-naming systems, and quality-control checklists.
• Establish a clear process from receiving original product photos through final asset approval.
• Organize project files, source images, masks, models, prompts, revisions, and final exports.
• Improve production speed without sacrificing product accuracy or visual quality.
• Work toward a typical delivery time of approximately 24–48 hours for standard content requests.
Own Quality Control
• Review every asset before it reaches the U.S. team.
• Enforce a zero-tolerance standard for distorted products, altered logos, incorrect colors, missing accessories, unrealistic shadows, and inconsistent proportions.
• Check perspective, lighting direction, contact shadows, reflections, scale, resolution, texture, anatomy, and environmental realism.
• Identify whether an asset can be corrected through inpainting, masking, compositing, relighting, regeneration, or manual Photoshop editing.
• Train junior editors to recognize common AI generation errors.
• Maintain consistency across image collections, recurring virtual models, brand campaigns, and product variations.
Manage AI Image and Video Production
• Oversee the creation of realistic lifestyle scenes using original product photography.
• Ensure that the actual product remains accurate while environments, backgrounds, people, and scenarios are generated or composited around it.
• Direct the creation of outdoor, camping, water-sports, home, wellness, and other product-specific lifestyle scenarios.
• Manage short-form video production using still product images, generated environments, motion effects, and AI video tools.
• Develop recurring virtual creators or product experts for TikTok, Instagram Reels, advertising, and educational content.
• Ensure temporal consistency so products remain sharp and stable while backgrounds or surrounding elements move naturally.
Manage Performance and Communication
• Serve as the primary point of contact between Rudderr and the creative production team.
• Translate creative requests into clear assignments for junior editors.
• Track production volume, revision rates, approval rates, turnaround time, and editor performance.
• Provide regular updates on project status, staffing, bottlenecks, and tool requirements.
• Recommend workflow, staffing, and software improvements based on measurable results.
• Manage software access and ensure company assets, trained models, and workflows remain organized and secure.
The operational model including manager ownership of recruiting, onboarding, training, performance management, production continuity, and final quality is central to this position.
Required Experience
• At least 1 years of experience managing a creative, multimedia, design, post-production, or digital content team.
• Strong understanding of e-commerce product photography and lifestyle content.
• Advanced ability to review and correct AI-generated images.
• Strong attention to product accuracy, branding, visual realism, and fine details.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Reliable high-speed internet and a computer capable of managing professional image and video workflows.
• Ability to work independently, make decisions, and communicate problems before they affect deadlines.
Preferred Technical Experience
Strong candidates should have hands-on experience with several AI generating tool and programs
Helpful Additional Experience
• Outdoor, survival, camping, water-sports, home-improvement, or consumer-product brands
• Managing freelance or offshore production teams
• Creating content for multiple brands at the same time
• Developing recurring virtual models or AI-generated brand ambassadors
• Capacity planning and creative production budgeting
What Success Looks Like
Within the first 30–60 days, the successful candidate will have:
• Recruited and evaluated a dependable group of junior editors.
• Established clear production and quality-control SOPs.
• Created a dependable workflow for receiving, producing, reviewing, revising, and delivering assets.
• Reduced preventable revisions caused by product distortion or overlooked AI defects.
• Built a consistent pipeline for realistic product lifestyle imagery.
• Established measurable expectations for turnaround time, asset quality, and editor performance.
• Begun expanding the operation into video and UGC-style content.
Two-Week Paid Pilot
Canidates will begin with a paid two-week project.
During the pilot, the candidate will be asked to:
• Source and evaluate two to three potential junior editors.
• Provide clear creative assignments using several test product photographs.
• Direct the editors in creating distinct lifestyle-image concepts.
• Develop a short-form video concept for each test product.
• Review AI-generated images and identify product, lighting, anatomy, perspective, and realism problems.
• Demonstrate how they would organize the workflow, manage revisions, and approve final assets.
• Present a proposed team structure, production process, and quality-control checklist.
The purpose of the pilot is not to determine whether the manager can personally create every asset. It is intended to evaluate the candidate’s ability to find talent, communicate standards, build systems, manage production, and prevent defective work from reaching the client.
Junior editor expenses approved for the pilot or ongoing operation will be managed under a separate company-funded production budget and will not be deducted from the manager’s compensation.
