JOB OVERVIEW

Creative Production Manager

About Zylo:

Zylo is an AI-powered video production agency. We produce short-form video content for two types of clients: ecommerce/DTC brands that need high-converting UGC-style ad content for Meta and TikTok, and local businesses that need social media content to promote their services and grow their online presence. We combine AI-generated footage with sharp editing and direct-response ad structure to deliver videos at volume — built to perform, not just look good.

The Role:

We're looking for a creative production manager to run the video production workflow from client intake to final delivery. You'll organize assets, manage editors, track video statuses, review outputs, communicate feedback, and make sure every batch is delivered on time and on brief.

What you'll do:
- Manage the full production pipeline: intake, scripts, prompts, renders, editing, review, revisions, approval, delivery
- Organize client assets, brand guidelines, product info, offers, testimonials, and creative references
- Assign work to editors and track progress across multiple clients
- Review videos for quality, accuracy, brand fit, claim safety, and platform readiness
- Ensure videos follow the approved script, hook, CTA, and visual direction
- Create and maintain SOPs for editors and production workflows
- Communicate clearly with clients/internal team about revisions and delivery timelines
- Keep files, folders, exports, and project statuses organized
- Understand ecommerce and local business content needs

Bonus skills:
Experience with Meta ads, UGC production, influencer content, creative strategy, ClickUp, Notion, Airtable, Google Drive, or Slack. Basic editing skills are a plus - you should know your way around an edit well enough to give precise feedback and catch mistakes, even if you're not doing the bulk of editing yourself.

Ideal person:
An organized operator with creative taste. You don't need to be the best editor, but you need to know what a good video looks like, catch mistakes fast, manage people well, and keep production moving even when things get hectic, if this is you drop a message below.

Application Questions
1. Do you have any video editing experience yourself? If so, what software, and roughly what level (basic touch-ups vs. full edits)?
2. Have you managed a team or group of freelancers/editors before? How many people, and in what kind of setup?
3. What kind of projects or production pipelines have you managed in the past? (Brief example)
4. How do you typically track and organize multiple projects/clients at once - tools, systems, habits?
5. Walk us through how you'd handle two clients needing urgent revisions on the same day with a tight deadline.
6. How do you handle pressure or a backed-up queue when output volume spikes?
7. How do you give feedback to an editor when something isn't on-brief - what does that conversation look like?

Please mention your favourite season of the year in your application, or you will not be considered.
