Contracts Engineer – Commercial Building (Virtual Role)

We are seeking a Contracts Engineer with expertise in Australian Standard Contracts to join our team. This is a remote position, ideal for a highly organized professional who can work independently while collaborating with our project teams.

Key Responsibilities
Review quotes and tender documentation.
Ensure compliance with Australian Standard Contracts and legal requirements.
Provide contractual advice to project teams to mitigate risks.
Enter purchase orders into project management software.
Assist in preparing contract documentation, variations, and claims.
Liaise with subcontractors, and consultants on contractual matters.
Support dispute resolution and claims management.

Requirements
Minimum 3-5 years experience in contract administration or contract engineering in commercial construction.
Strong knowledge of Australian Standard Contracts (AS 4000, AS 4902, etc.).
Experience with construct-only and design & construct project models.
Ability to work remotely with strong communication and time management skills.
Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office.
Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, Law, or a related field (preferred).
