JOB OVERVIEW

Objective of the Role:
The Content Writer is responsible for creating engaging and informative content that educates and attracts potential clients to PermitFlow. They will work closely with the marketing and operations teams to develop content that effectively communicates the benefits of using the PermitFlow’s services and establishes the company as a thought leader in the industry.

Responsibilities:
• Research and understand the permit industry, including the administrative and legal procedures involved in construction projects

• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop a content strategy that aligns with the company's goals and target audience

• Write and edit blog posts, articles, case studies, and whitepapers that provide valuable insights and information to potential clients

• Create website copy that effectively communicates the company's value proposition and encourages visitors to take action

• Work with the sales team to develop sales collateral, such as brochures and presentations, that effectively communicate the benefits of using the company's services

• Conduct interviews with subject matter experts within the company to gather information and insights for content creation

• Optimize content for search engines (SEO) to increase organic traffic and visibility

• Collaborate with the marketing team to create and manage an editorial calendar to ensure a consistent flow of high-quality content

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in content marketing to continuously improve the company's content strategy

Requirements:
• Proven experience in content writing, preferably in the construction or real estate industry

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex information and tailor content to different audiences

• Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to gather and synthesize information from various sources

• Familiarity with SEO best practices and the ability to optimize content for search engines

• Detail-oriented with strong editing and proofreading skills

• Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and basic HTML is a plus

• Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to generate new ideas and approaches to content creation

• Team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to collaborate and support cross-functional teams
